Battery Pack Design
HOW TO QUOTE:
Building your own Pack:
1. Choose the Cell:
Determine the cell type required for your assembly (ie. Rechargeable Lithium, NiCAD, NIMH, Primary Lithium or Alkaline)
2. Choose the Configuration required:
Find your format number using the the battery pack formation chart below - Please keep in mind these are only the most common formats. If your layout is not on the chart - please contact BBM by email (email@example.com), phone (1-888-328-6587) or fax 1-(866)-606-9909. A drawing or digital image may be required.
3. Determine Component Requirements:
Your battery pack may require thermal components (Polyswitches, Thermal Cut-Offs, Temperature devices or Circut board / Management systems). For more information on this, feel free to contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), phone (1-888-328-6587) or fax 1-(866)-606-9909
4.Determine Termination Connector:
Please refer to our Custom Termination page to obtain your requested connector code. If it is not on our page, please provide the manufacturers name/part number.
If you require a Hard case Plastic enclosure or any enclosure other than shrink wrap, please call us for a consultation (1-888-328-6587)
You are now ready to obtain a Quote:
If you have determined that you require a 7.2 volt 1100mAH battery packs using 6 Sanyo KR1100AAU cells in format #5 with termination code # CA24. Your part number will be: 6XKR1100AAU#5CA24 OR:
#of cells (6), X cell part # (KR1100AAU), format (#5), termination code (CA124). If using thermal components BBM will need to be notified in a description of the battery pack or a Schematic.
